Bizcap’s International Deal – Deal of the Quarter

Summary

When Jones & Co, in partnership with Bizcap, were approached by an international paving importer seeking a unique financing solution, we were met with a complex set of challenges.

The company needed a loan facility to support working capital and expansion. Together, we crafted a unique solution to help the business grow, even in the face of complex and legal obstacles.

Challenge

This wasn’t a typical financing request. The most significant challenge was the company’s unique financial and legal background.

As an internationally based company the clients did not have leave to remain in the UK and as such was a high risk for all other lenders. Matched with limited permissions, the business faced a complex situation that most lenders would consider high-risk.

Securing funding was further complicated by an existing charge over property linked to obligations from a previous business loan. Many traditional lenders might hesitate to take on a case such as this due to the intricate legalities and potential risks involved.

Solution

Despite these hurdles, we collaborated with Bizcap to navigate these issues and structure a solution that worked.

Within just 36 hours, we had crafted a financing deal, resulting in a £550,000 loan, which was completed by October 28th.

Result

Through our partnership with Bizcap, we were able to secure the necessary funding quickly, overcoming obstacles that might have deterred other lenders. We offered a tailored approach that provided the company with the crucial resources they needed for business growth and positioned them to expand confidently in the UK market.
